Voice casting

The long-running animated series Arthur has undergone a major shakeup in its voice cast, with several key roles being recast for the show's latest season. In a significant change, Drew Adkins has stepped into the titular role of Arthur, taking over from Dallas Jokic who had voiced the beloved aardvark in previous seasons. Adkins brings a fresh voice and energy to the part while maintaining the earnest charm that has endeared Arthur to fans for decades. Another notable recasting is Jake Beale assuming the role of Arthur's precocious little sister D.W., a character previously portrayed by Robert Naylor. Beale is no stranger to the Arthur universe, having lent his vocal talents to the role of Arthur's friend James in earlier seasons. The cerebral and level-headed Brain, an integral part of Arthur's circle of friends, is now being voiced by Siam Yu, who succeeds Lyle O'Donohoe in this crucial role. Yu's measured, thoughtful delivery breathes new life into the character while staying true to Brain's essence. Additionally, Jacob Ewaniuk has taken over the role of the lovably gullible Timmy from Dakota Goyo, and Robyn Thaler has replaced Alexina Cowan as Arthur's kind and caring Catherine. The series has also expanded its vibrant cast of characters this season with the introduction of Ladonna Compson and her younger brother Bud, voiced by Krystal Meadows and Julie Lemieux respectively. These new additions promise to bring fresh storylines and dynamics to the rich tapestry of life in Elwood City.
