The Aztech WaveRider (commonly referred to as "AWR") is a family of personal computer sound cards.

Description

AWR began to be manufactured in Singapore in 1995. It produces stereo (two channels) sound in 16-bit linear pulse code modulation and uses the 16 bit ISA connection interface, involving MIDI and Wavetable synthesis, as well as Yamaha YMF262. At one time, sound cards from Aztech Labs competed with those produced by Creative Technology and Media Vision.
