Bahman Foroutan (Persian: بهمن فروتن) was an Iranian football manager.
Early life
Foroutan was born in Iran. His father aspired for him to work in the film industry.
Career
In 1999, Foroutan was appointed manager of Singaporean side Balestier Khalsa FC. In 2005, he was appointed manager of Iranian side Shamoushak Noshahr FC.
Management style
Foroutan has used a back four. He has been described as "impulsive on the sidelines, meticulous on the tactics board".
Personal life
Foroutan is the father of German actress Melika Foroutan. He is also the father of German football manager Nikolai Foroutan.
