Balahzar (Persian: بلهزار) was a village in Sarrud-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Boyer-Ahmad County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,898 in 407 households. The following census in 2011 counted 3,235 people in 778 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 3,478 people in 889 households.

After the census, the city of Madavan and the villages of Balahzar, Jadval-e Ghureh-ye Mehrian, Madavan-e Sofla, Mehrian, Sarab-e Taveh, Servak, and Tall Khosrow were merged with the city of Yasuj.
