Brunello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Milan and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) southwest of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,006 and an area of 1.6 square kilometres (0.62 sq mi).
The municipality of Brunello contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Collodri and Rosea.
Brunello borders the following municipalities: Azzate, Buguggiate, Castronno, Gazzada Schianno, Morazzone, Sumirago.
