Interior Township is a civil township of Ontonagon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 270 at the 2020 census. It was named for the Interior Lumber Company.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 89.37 square miles (231.47 km), of which 86.42 square miles (223.83 km) is land and 2.95 square miles (7.6 km) (3.30%) is water. A large portion of the township is within the Ottawa National Forest.
