The Cartier Women's Initiative is an annual international entrepreneurship program for women. It was founded by Cartier in 2006.
History
Founded in 2006, the Cartier Women’s Initiative is an annual international entrepreneurship program. Over the years, the program has had a measurable impact in the social entrepreneurship space. Since its creation, the Cartier Women’s Initiative has supported 330 women changemakers & entrepreneurs hailing from 66 countries. The program has awarded a total of $11.5M USD in financial support and has grown its number of annual fellows from 5 in 2007 to 33 in 2024.
As part of the program, all fellows are offered the opportunity to join a global network of women impact entrepreneurs collectively working to drive positive change. Cartier works with their fellows to equip them with the tools to grow their businesses and build their leadership capabilities by working with experts and entrepreneurs. Fellows receive customized training in areas like financials, impact measurement and communication.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative is in partnership with Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) to support the annual publication of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Report and Global Report.
