The Central District of Chabahar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان چابھار) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Chabahar.
History
After the 2016 National Census, Vashnam-e Dari Rural District was established in the district, and Pir Sohrab Rural District was separated from it in the establishment of Pir Sohrab District.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 113,154 in 21,920 households. The following census in 2011 counted 143,067 people in 31,823 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 170,272 inhabitants in 41,243 households.
