Richard Edward Peralta, also known as Chad Peralta or mononymously as Chad, is a Filipino-Australian singer and actor. He was born in Sydney, Australia.
Career
Peralta learned to play classical guitar at the age of twelve. He wrote and composed several songs in Tagalog and English before becoming an information technology consultant.
He appeared on the first season of Pinoy Dream Academy along with Panky Trinidad, Irish Fullerton, Jay-R Siaboc, Ronnie Liang, and Yeng Constantino. After several weeks on the show, he released an album with Nugen Music.
His music falls within the pop rock and alternative pop genre.
