Coccothrinax microphylla is a palm which is endemic to eastern Cuba. Commonly known as the Dwarf plant, it is a tree or shrub that grows mostly in the wet tropical biome. It is not just an ornamental plant, its importance goes as far as the local ecosystem.
Henderson and colleagues (1995) considered C. microphylla to be a synonym of Coccothrinax pauciramosa.
