Cochylis posterana is a moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in Europe, Iran and China (Gansu, Xinjiang).
The wingspan is 13–16 mm.
Larvae have been recorded feeding on Carduus nutans, Cirsium lanceolatum and Centaurea jacea.
