- Hadhari Saindou Djaffar (born 17 Nov 1978) holds the Comorian records in 100 metres, 200 metres and 400 metres. He also competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics.
- Salhate Djamalidine (born 23 December 1978) holds the Comorian records in several track events. At the 2004 Olympics she was the flagbearer of Comoros at the closing ceremony.
