Desmond Makaza is a Zimbabwean politician who served as the Member of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe for Mpopoma-Mzilikazi from September to October 2023, as a member of the Citizens Coalition for Change.
In October 2023, Makaza and fourteen other CCC Members of Parliament were recalled from parliament following a letter by self-proclaimed CCC Secretary-General Sengezo Tshabangu, in which he stated that they had been expelled from the party which was disputed by CCC party president Nelson Chamisa. Makaza subsequently filed nomination papers to contest the by-election in his constituency on 9 December, but was disqualified from contesting by the Harare High Court.
