The DIREX DUG (Direx Universal Gun) is a prototype battle rifle developed by Rexim S.A. of Switzerland.

Development

The Rexim DIREX was developed in the 1950s as a rival to the CETME and H&K G3 rifles which use roller-locking delayed blowback. The only main differences are the round receiver and a 30 round magazine.
