Dubai Run is the largest road running event held in Dubai. It has held in Sheikh Zayed Road since 2017 as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, covering a 5-kilometre (3.1 mi) and 10-kilometre (6.2 mi) course. The event is a "fun run" as well as a race, attracting both competitive runners and community participants who can choose to run or to walk. The event attracts more than 200,000+ entrants who start in staggered groups based on previous running times and early entry.

History

The Dubai Run has been held as an annual event since the first run on 24 November 2017, initially as a 10-mile-long (16 km) run that commenced in (Sheikh Zayed Road) Dubai, adjacent to Museum of the Future to Burj Khalifa
