Ganiyu Folabi Salahu is a Nigerian legal practitioner and politician representing the Omupo constituency, Ifelodun local government area in the 9th and 10th Assembly of Kwara State House of Assembly.

Early life and education

Ganiyu was born on 3 February 1962 in Falokun-Oja, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State Nigeria. He studied law at Usman Danfodio University for his bachelor's degree between 1991 to 1996 and he was called to Nigeria Bar in 1998.

Career

Ganiyu is a certified and practising teacher he started his teaching career at Onitolo Community High School, Onitolo, Lagos in 1986 and practice it for two years before he was called to bar in 1998 and start his legal practice between 1998 till date. He contested and won an election as the honorable member that represents Omupo constituency in 2019 general election and won his re-election bid in 2023 under the platform of All Progressive Congress.
