Demographics
In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the County of Stettler No. 6 had a population of 5,666 living in 1,945 of its 2,310 total private dwellings, a change of 1.8% from its 2016 population of 5,566. With a land area of 3,969.65 km (1,532.69 sq mi), it had a population density of 1.4/km (3.7/sq mi) in 2021.
In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the County of Stettler No. 6 had a population of 5,322 living in 1,850 of its 2,137 total private dwellings, a 4.3% change from its 2011 population of 5,103. With a land area of 4,018.84 km (1,551.68 sq mi), it had a population density of 1.3/km (3.4/sq mi) in 2016.
