Jacob Golomb

Jacob Golomb (Hebrew: יעקב גולומב; 5 June 1947 – July 2023) was an Israeli philosopher. He was professor of philosophy at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Golomb specialised in continental philosophy of the 19th and 20th centuries, phenomenology, hermeneutics, psychoanalysis, philosophy and literature; Philosophy of Zionism and Jewish modern philosophy. Professor Golomb was acting as the Philosophical Editor of the Hebrew University Magnes Press and was a member of its academic committee.

Jacob Golomb died in July 2023, at the age of 76.
