Jeżów Sudecki is a village in Karkonosze County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Jeżów Sudecki.

It lies approximately 4 km (2 mi) north of Jelenia Góra, and 94 km (58 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.

History

The area became part of the emerging Polish state in the 10th century. The village was first mentioned in 1299, when it was part of fragmented Piast-ruled Poland.

Jeżów Sudecki is one of the places considered as the "birthplace of the sport of gliding".

During World War II, the Germans operated a forced labour camp for French prisoners of war in the village.
