John S. Siemianowski (born May 26, 1960) is an American priest of the Catholic Church who was appointed as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2024.
Early life
Siemianowski was born in Chicago on May 26, 1960 at the family of the Polish immigrants. He earned a degree in environmental sciences from Southern Illinois University. He went on to attend Mundelein Seminary. Siemianowski was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Chicago on May 20, 1989.
Episcopacy
Pope Francis appointed Siemianowski auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago, assigning him the titular see of Gratianopolis on December 20, 2024. Siemianowski is scheduled to be consecrated as a bishop in early 2025.
