Kodamballi is a village in the Channapatna Taluk of Ramanagara District of Karnataka, India. It is located 29 kilometers towards South from District headquarters in Ramanagara.The total geographical area of the village is 436.22 hectares. It is located along SH-94 of Channapatna-Halaguru Road and is a major village connecting many Districts to the sacred places of Kabbalu and Muthathi.

Kodamballi is surrounded by Maddur Taluk towards west, Malvalli Taluk towards South, Kanakapura Taluk towards East. Channapatna, Maddur, Ramanagara, Malavalli, Mandya, Kanakapura are the near by Cities to Kodamballi.

This Place is in the border of the Ramanagara District and Mandya District. Mandya District Maddur is west towards this place. The beautiful Chennapaaji hill lies towards the east of the Village. Kabbal Forest and Narikallu Gudda Forest are adjacent to the Village.

The Maraleshwara temple built by the Gangas is in the village. Hunasanahalli Bisilamma temple is one kilometer from the Village. Popular tourist places include the Chennapaaji betta(hill) which is a good hike. It is also accessible by vehicles. The Kodamballi lake also provides a picturesque view.
