Kurka (Persian: كوركا) was a village in, and the former capital of, Kurka Rural District of the Central District of Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh County, Gilan province, Iran. The capital of the rural district was transferred to the village of Kashal-e Azad Sara.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,206 in 635 households. The village did not appear in the censuses of 2011 and 2016.
