La Zanzara is an Italian radio program created by the Italian journalist, Giuseppe Cruciani, and broadcast on Radio 24. Journalist David Parenzo is the co-host. The show is known for giving space to controversial topics and for being politically incorrect. It is also famous for prank calls to Italian celebrities and politicians.

In the Italian culture

La Zanzara started its history in 2006. During the years the format was totally changed from a classical political radio-talk to a popolar radio-talk. In the first years of transmission was a stage for a lot of Italian political figure like Matteo Salvini, Matteo Renzi, Giorgia Meloni. But the daily format and the open mic with normal people make a big switch to a pop program. Many mainstream topic was analyzed by the host, form Berlusconi's Bunga-Bunga to Onlyfanser.

With this continuous evolutions, Cruciani and Parenzo created a " Zanzara Universe" with many radio broadcasters like Mauro da Mantova, Donato da Varese, Demone Scimmia, Tony da Milano, Giuseppe da Reggio Calabria, Gaetano Saya, Enzo Spatalino, Filippo Champagne, Nevio Lo Stirato, Ion Bambalau, Luca Scazzi, Clizia de Rossi and Dwarf Matteo. During this evolutions, La Zanzara had many verbal fight and mainstream-media attention for host's position about many topic like Vegan Movement, LGBTQ+ Movement, No-Covid Movement
