- Joseph H. Berke, psychiatrist who helped Mary Barnes, a nurse with schizophrenia, emerge from madness. She became a famous artist and writer.

- Richard Frankenstein, (Class of 1974), practiced pulmonology and internal medicine; and served as the chief medical officer at two California hospitals.
