Machavaram is a village in Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Machavaram mandal. There are two major towns near this village is DACHEPALLE and PIDUGURALLA.

Geography

Machavaram is situated at 16°36′00″N 79°44′00″E / 16.6°N 79.7333°E / 16.6; 79.7333. It is spread over an area of 1,416 ha (3,500 acres).

Governance

Machavaram gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village. It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.
