Mary Shortall (born October 24, 1958) is a Canadian politician and labour activist who was elected as president of the New Democratic Party in 2023. She also ran as the candidate for St. John's East in the 2021 federal election.

Prior to politics, Shortall was the president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour from 2013 to 2022.
