Miche-Naider Chéry (born November 13, 1997) is a Haitian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for USL Championship club Oakland Roots SC.
Club career
Violette AC
Chery played in the Ligue Haïtienne from 2020 to 2024 for Violette AC. In the 2020–21 Ligue Haïtienne season, Violette AC won the league by defeating Arcahaie FC in the final. In the 2022 Caribbean Club Championship, Chery played in the 3-2 win against Jamaican side Cavalier which secured the club a place beyond the group stage. He then played in the 3-1 win against Waterhouse. Violette ultimately won in the final, securing the club's first ever Caribbean Club Championship title. In 2023, he scored a brace in the CONCACAF Champions Cup game against Major League Soccer side Austin FC.
Oakland Roots
On November 17, 2023, USL Championship club Oakland Roots announced that they had signed Miche-Naider Chéry, with him joining the club officially in January 2024. He made his debut in the 2-1 win against Indy Eleven in the first match of the 2024 USL Championship season. He played 90 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Phoenix Rising. He scored his first goal for the club in the 2-2 draw with San Antonio FC, heading home Trayvone Reid's cross. He scored the lone goal in a win against FC Tulsa. He also assisted Camden Riley's opening goal in the win against Orange County.
On November 27, 2024, Miche-Naider Chery was announced as one of the returnees to the Roots for the 2025 season.
