Former Minister of Finance of Bangladesh

Mohammad Abdul Munim is a former Minister of Finance of Bangladesh.

Career

Munim retired from Bangladesh Army as a Major General. In 1983, he joined the government of Hussain Mohammad Ershad as the Minister of Public Works (Bangladesh). He was a close confidant of General Hussain Mohammad Ershad.

Munim was the Minister of Finance under President Hussain Mohammad Ershad and Prime Minister Moudud Ahmed from May 1988 to September 1988.

In 1990, Munim was the Minister of Health and Family Planning. From May 1990 to December 1990, he again served as the Minister of Finance.
