Demographics
At the 2010 census Monson had a population of 188. The population density was 382.3 inhabitants per square mile (147.6/km). The racial makeup of Monson was 121 (64.4%) White, 1 (0.5%) African American, 5 (2.7%) Native American, 4 (2.1%) Asian, 0 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 57 (30.3%) from other races, and 0 (0.0%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 147 people (78.2%).
The whole population lived in households, no one lived in non-institutionalized group quarters and no one was institutionalized.
There were 49 households, 21 (42.9%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 32 (65.3%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 6 (12.2%) had a female householder with no husband present, 4 (8.2%) had a male householder with no wife present. There were 3 (6.1%) unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 0 (0%) same-sex married couples or partnerships. 6 households (12.2%) were one person and 3 (6.1%) had someone living alone who was 65 or older.
