The News-Examiner is a weekly newspaper published in Montpelier, Idaho.

History

The newspaper was started in 1895 by Charles Harris as The Montpelier Examiner. The paper merged with the Bear Lake Valley News and became The News-Examiner on Sept. 16, 1937.

SWI News sold the paper to Pioneer News Group in 2007. A decade later the company sold it to Adams Publishing Group in 2017.
