Paradise is a 2001 book by Larry McMurtry, a travel book and memoir about a trip McMurtry took to the South Seas in 1999. This make it rare in McMutry's career, as he usually focused on Texas. It was McMurtry's third memoir.

Reception

The Austin Chronicle wrote "this book is less interesting as a travel book than as another entry into the McMurtry memory project brought on after the unease produced by his heart bypass surgery in the early 1990s."

The New York Times called it "light book, at once sardonic, wise and insightful."

Kirkus wrote "this is likely to disappoint loyal McMurtry fans."
