R. Chandrasekar Gounder is an Indian politician. He was elected to the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Manapparai constituency in 2011 and retained his seat in the elections of 2016. He represents the AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kalgam) party.
Personal life
R. Chandrasekar Gounder belongs to a Urali Gounder community which is a majority in the Central Districts of Tamil Nadu which comprises the districts of Trichy, Dindigul, Perambalur, Pudukottai, Sivagangai, Salem, Karur and western regions including Erode, Coimbatore, Tiruppur.
