Young Stunners (YS) is a Karachi-based hip-hop duo formed in 2012 by Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus and with the music production primarily handled by Jokhay and Umair.

Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus and Jokhay rose to fame on YouTube after releasing their first song "Burger-e-Karachi". Some of their major hits to date include: the collaborative 2021 PSL anthem Groove Mera, their performance at the 2021 Pakistan Day Parade and their music video "Afsanay".

They are often credited for introducing Urdu rap into the mainstream Pakistani music scene.

Since their success over the years, the duo has collaborated with a number of Pakistani artists including; Asim Azhar, Bohemia, Rap Demon, Raamis, Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, JJ47, Hasan Raheem, and Faisal Kapadia and Indian artists including Seedhe Maut, KR$NA among others.

History

The group consists of Talha Anjum and Talhah Yunus. Both were born and raised in Karachi. The duo got their education at the Army Public School, Saddar and have been friends since the age of 16. The group was formed on 2 July 2012 and started releasing music in the same year. Their debut singles "Burger-e-Karachi", a satirical take at the westernised and out-of-touch urban elites of Karachi, and "Maila Majnu" were some of songs that were widely popular. In 2017, they released their debut album "Rebirth".

In July 2020, they collaborated with Asim Azhar, Shamoon Ismail, and Raamis on the track "Tum Tum". In September 2021, they released the track "Why Not" as part of a promotional campaign for Pepsi. In March 2022, they collaborated with Faisal Kapadia on the final track of Coke Studio (Season 14) titled "Phir Milenge".

Talha Anjum (born 3 October 1996) is a Pakistani rapper, songwriter, and performer, best known as one half of the renowned music duo Young Stunners. He was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, where he attended the Army Public School. He has two brothers and developed an early interest in music.

Talha Anjum began his career participating in rap battles during his school years, using his lyrical skills to address local issues and create culturally relevant content. His ability to connect with audiences through his dynamic wordplay and thought-provoking lyrics quickly earned him recognition in the emerging rap scene in Pakistan.

Talhah Yunus (born 21 October 1996) is a Pakistani rapper, songwriter, and music producer, widely recognized as a key figure in the South Asian hip-hop scene and music duo Young Stunners. Born and raised in Karachi, Yunus developed an early interest in rap and formed a close friendship with Talha Anjum during their school years. Talhah Yunus initially gained prominence through diss tracks that showcased his sharp lyrical ability. His breakthrough came with Young Stunners’ debut single, "Burger-e-Karachi," which achieved widespread acclaim and established the duo as Key figures in Pakistan's rap and hip-hop industry.

In addition to his work with Young Stunners, Yunus has pursued a solo career, releasing the mixtape "6IX," which highlights his versatility and creative depth as an artist. His contributions to the music industry have solidified his reputation as a transformative figure in contemporary Pakistani music.
