Sázava is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants.

Sázava lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Žďár nad Sázavou, 26 kilometres (16 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 119 kilometres (74 mi) south-east of Prague.
