SM Kamrul Hassan is a lieutenant general of the Bangladesh Army who in 2024 was appointed the 17th principal staff officer (PSO) of Armed Forces Division.
Before being appointed PSO he was a senior directing staff (Army-1) at National Defence College, the commandant of Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA), and commanded the 66th Infantry Division and Rangpur Area as General-Officer-Commanding (GOC).
Previously, he also served as the Chief Instructor at Defense Services Command and Staff College.
