Saint John was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, Canada. It used a bloc voting system to elect candidates. It was split into the ridings of Saint John City and Saint John County in 1795.

- The members elected for St. John were known as the Government candidates. Another group of candidates, Tertuluss Dickinson, Richard Lightfoot, Richard Bonsall, Peter Grim, Jonathan Boggs and Alexander Reid, received a majority of the votes but were unsuccessful because of the actions of the sheriff in validating the votes.
