Sarah Guo is an American investor. She is the founder and managing partner at the venture capital firm Conviction and formerly a general partner at Greylock Partners.

Early life and education

Guo grew up in Wisconsin. Her parents worked for Bell Labs. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School, earning four degrees.

Career

After working at Casa Systems and Goldman Sachs, Guo joined Greylock Partners, later becoming a general partner. Guo left Greylock to start a new early-stage venture capital firm, Conviction, which she then launched in October 2022. Conviction's investments include Mistral AI.

Guo appears in media outlets as an expert in AI, business software, cybersecurity, the future of work and developer tools.
