Scott W. Pappano (born c. 1967) is a United States Navy vice admiral who has served as the principal military deputy to the assistant secretary of the Navy (research, development, and acquisition) since 26 June 2024. He most recently served as the program executive officer for strategic submarines. He previously served as the commander of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.
In May 2024, Pappano was nominated for promotion to vice admiral and assignment as principal military deputy to the assistant secretary of the Navy (research, development, and acquisition).
