Sha'tah (Arabic: الشعثة) is a hamlet in central Syria, administratively part of the Suran Subdistrict of the Hama District. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Sha'tah had a population of 103 in the 2004 census.

History

In the late 19th or early 20th century, Sha'tah was sold by the Bani Khalid tribe of central Syria to the urban notables of Hama. Its inhabitants were Sunni Muslims.
