Shabtai (Hebrew: שַׁבְּתַאי or שַׁבְּתַי) is a Jewish masculine given name derived from the Hebrew word Shabbat, and is traditionally given to boys born on that day. Alternative transliterations into English include Sabbatai, Sabbathai, Shabbatai, Shabbethai, and Shabsai.
