Simon William Bisson Pitkeathley (born 9 May 1964) is a British businessman who is due to be conferred with a life peerage.

Early life and family

Simon William Bisson Pitkeathley was born on 9 May 1964, to Thomas Pitkeathley and Jill Pitkeathley. His parents divorced in 1978, and Simon Pitkeathley was brought up in a single parent household by his mother. He has one sister, Rachel Pitkeathley.

Career

He is the Chief Executive of Camden Town Unlimited and Euston Town, and was formerly the Mayor of London's Champion for Small Business.

Pitkeathley unsuccessfully sought to be the Labour Party candidate for the constituency of Holborn and St Pancras in 2014, but Keir Starmer was ultimately selected.

He was nominated for a life peerage in December 2024 by Prime Minister Keir Starmer for the Labour Party.

Personal life

Pitkeathley married Miranda Pitcher in 1996, and they have two sons together. He and his wife later provided respite care to three fostered children.
