Spheroidene monooxygenase (EC1.14.15.9, CrtA, acyclic carotenoid 2-ketolase, spirilloxantin monooxygenase, 2-oxo-spirilloxanthin monooxygenase) is an enzyme with systematic namespheroidene, reduced-ferredoxin:oxygen oxidoreductase (spheroiden-2-one-forming).
