The Archdiocese of New York also covers Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties in the Hudson Valley region of New York State.

This is a list of all the active Roman Catholic and Eastern Rite Catholic churches in the Archdiocese of New York. In 2014, Archbishop Timothy Dolan announced the merger of Roman Catholic 113 parishes in the archdiocese, with 31 churches permanently closing. The list includes individual churches that were merged into new parishes or were closed as a result of the 2014 mergers. This list was completely updated in 2024.
