Stowe is a ward and suburb of Lichfield in the Lichfield District, in the county of Staffordshire, England. It is one of the six wards on Lichfield City Council and as of 2024 is represented by Cllrs Angela Lax (Con), Ann Hughes (Lab), Paul McDermott (Lib Dem), Russell Bragger (Lab) and Scott Hollingsworth (Lib Dem).
Geography
Stowe covers the central part of Lichfield including the city centre, Cathedral, and Trent Valley Road which comprises many retail, residential, industrial, and historical areas. Lichfield City and Trent Valley stations are near to Stowe. As well as the A38 and A5192 roads.
Amenities
Stowe is very well served by the main Lichfield City Centre and many other cultural and heritage sites of interest. These include Lichfield Cathedral, Garrick Theatre, Stowe Pool etc. The ward is also home to the only mosque in Lichfield on St Chad's Road.
