Westend Bistro and PBS series
I would like to include in the Westend Bistro section that reacting to the recession and to encourage people to continue to go out for meals, it now serves a family-style Sunday Supper of a starter and entree for $28 per person. I'd also like to add a quote from Eric Ripert about it, "We thought the Sunday Supper would encourage people to go out that night, and that it would be different and fun. But our restaurants won’t compromise on the quality of the product so they will keep prices where they are." The source is Zagat.com. What's the general feeling? Is it relevant enough or not?
I'd also like to add that Ripert has an upcoming PBS television show, Avec Eric, that is set to debut in the fall. What's the feeling about this? Rosestiles (talk) 21:31, 25 April 2009 (UTC)rosestiles
posed nude for ad campaign...
i read the ny times article where he received his first 4 star review and le bernadin it's 2nd or 3rd and it mentioned an ad campaign for vita prep where several famous chefs posed nude for a calender style or monthly ad, the only thing 'covering' or blocking view of their nether regions was a blender. eric got august. they didn't get paid but got to keep a blender or two.
ok, so where the heck is this ad?! i tried looking for it and all i saw was a similar sort of pix done by toby young and anthony bourdain. my eyes are still burning.
if someone could find this ad pic and post the link to it, that would be awesome. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.201.76.144 (talk) 18:55, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
