There are no accents on capital letters in French, so this should be moved to Evian-les-Bains, and in the article it should be written Evian, even if there were an accent, if written all in lower case. Kraxler 16:21, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

There is an accent on the name, even if it is sometimes left off for stylistic reasons. There is a growing trend to writing accents on capitals in French, especially as they are getting easier to do on computers. Quebec tends to write the accents on capitals more than France does. For a reference work like Misplaced Pages, it's much better that the "proper" spelling is used. Canadiana (talk) 21:49, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

What does this even mean

> Evian mineral waters revealed astonishing curative qualities and the waters began to be used for medicinal purposes.

Seriously astonishing curative qualities? What is it talking about? What medicinal purpose is this magic voodoo water used for? Evan Carroll (talk) 15:31, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

I went ahead and removed this. I found the page via the Evian water company, and this curative talk and reference to studies, without sources, is extremely misleading. 99.198.218.174 (talk) 01:51, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
