I suggest not to mention ALL historical names of streets in Bratislava you can find in Horvath. This is not a names directory and not the type of information an encyclopaedia should contain. Also, this wikipedia does not contain the same information for other streets in the world. Select the most important ones, that's more than enough. Juro 22:19, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

redirects/naming

I'd like to add redirects for this page (sancova ulica, šancova ulica, šancova street, etc) but I'd like to answer a different question first.

The official name is "Šancová ulica". Shouldn't this be the article title? If we're translating "ulica", shouldn't we translate "Sancova" also (Rampart Street)?

Suggestions/insight welcome. MikeGogulski 01:55, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

There is no official English name for streets in the world (except for maybe 20 most famous ones). Therefore AFAIAC the title should be in Slovak - unless there is a naming convention for this claiming the opposite. Juro 18:41, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
