Yum!

I can't believe the bit about eating elepaio has been in here basically since this article was created nearly 10 years ago. The citations (which aren't even attached to it anymore) don't say that at all; one simply says that it wasn't kapu. The things are about half a mouthful each! Merge

This article should probably be merged with Hawaiʻi ʻelepaio. Andrew Z. Colvin • Talk 22:17, 29 April 2018 (UTC)

@Azcolvin429: I'm curious as to your reasoning for this suggestion. With three species in the genus Chasiempis I don't understand why it would be merged with the article of a particular one of those three, as that sounds kind of arbitrary to me (but I freely admit to being a newbie here and am happy to stand corrected as needed!). I resend my proposal. I stated this prior to realizing the reclassification of the subspecies. Though I am unsure about the reclassification itself because the source I used to create the colonization diagram considered the other species to be subspecies of C. sandwichensis. Nevertheless, we can keep them separate articles. Also, welcome to Misplaced Pages! If you need assistance with anything, you can always message me on my talk page. :) Andrew Z.
