(The Same Thing Happens with) The Birds and the Bees → (The Same Thing Happens With) The Birds and the Bees — Relisted. Ucucha 15:08, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Caps
- Styling parenthesis removed, The Same Thing Happens with The Birds and the Bees.--Labattblueboy (talk) 04:17, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose. WP:ALBUMCAPS clearly says that prepositions (such as "with") should not be capitalized. Would support title without parentheses as proposed by Labattblueboy above. --DAJF (talk) 09:59, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Comment See WP:CAPS: "...unless they begin or end a title or subtitle" and Misplaced Pages:MUSTARD#Capitalization "Titles that include parentheses should be capitalized as though both the part inside and outside the parentheses are separate titles (e.g., "(Don't Fear) The Reaper")" —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 19:29, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose on both counts. "with" is a minor word, and the parentheses are part of the title. 81.111.114.131 (talk) 14:25, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Move? (2)
- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: No concensus - page not moved. I also note that the text on Misplaced Pages:MUSTARD#Capitalization has been changed since the start of this request, and now that policy would say that it should not be moved Ronhjones 23:19, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
(The Same Thing Happens with) The Birds and the Bees → (The Same Thing Happens With) The Birds and the Bees —
- And two similar cases ((Do the) Mashed Potatoes to (Do The) Mashed Potatoes and (The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether to (The System Of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether). Revived disputed move. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 10:45, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- See WP:CAPS: "...unless they begin or end a title or subtitle" and Misplaced Pages:MUSTARD#Capitalization "Titles that include parentheses should be capitalized as though both the part inside and outside the parentheses are separate titles (e.g., "(Don't Fear) The Reaper")" —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:52, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- "(Do the) Mashed Potatoes" means " 'Do the Mashed Potatoes' or 'Mashed Potatoes' " :: neither form needs "The"; similarly the other 2 move requests. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 10:45, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Comment Either form does need "The" as I cited above. "Titles that include parentheses should be capitalized as though both the part inside and outside the parentheses are separate titles." Therefore, it is as though "The" in "(Do the) Mashed Potatoes" is made up of the titles "Do the" and "Mashed Potatoes". Since "the" is the last word in the title "Do the" it should be capitalized. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 13:33, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose: The rule at Misplaced Pages:MUSTARD#Capitalization (as at 12:15, 8 March 2010 (UTC)) says "Titles that include parentheses should be capitalized as follows: the part outside the parentheses should be capitalized as if the parenthetical words are not present; the part inside the parentheses should be capitalized as if there were no parentheses at all."; that agrees with my statement at 10:45, 23 February 2010 (UTC). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 12:15, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- Comment As you know, this was written after this nomination and will affect several articles (e.g. "(Don't Fear) The Reaper".) If this is what the standard is to be, you are clearly correct, but as it was written before, the standard supported my proposal. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 03:36, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
