Tomáš Němejc (born 24 February 2000) is a Czech sprinter. In 2024, he won Czech national titles over 200 metres both indoors and outdoors.
Early life
Němejc was born on 24 February 2000 in Tábor. He started competing in athletics in primary school and would train at a sports gymnasium in České Budějovice. He attended the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň.
Career
He won the Czech national indoors title in Ostrava in February 2024. He competed at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome, where he became the first Czech man to reach the final of the 200 metres for 55 years. He won the Czech national 200 metres title in Zlín in June 2024.
In July 2024, he was selected to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
